Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer - kitbash

Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer is the sole survivor of the mercenary team hired by the U.S. military and CIA dispatched to Central America in 1987. Schaefer was a specialist in guerrilla engagements and had been posted in both Da Nang and Cambodia during and just after the Vietnam War along side George Dillon. Schaefer attended boot camp with Davis in 1967 and has a brother in the NYPD. Prior to events in Central America, Shaefer leaves the U.S. Army and sets up his own mercenary or private military contractor rescue team. The team have seen operations in Afghanistan and more recently Berlin, Germany. Schaefer is determined to keep his team as rescuers and will turn down any 'hit' operations, such as he did recently with a proposed operation in Libya.
